Abstract

|
The aims of this study was to produce the data that will be contribute to establish the 3rd(2003-2006) plan of community health care and improvement plan of medical service in the provincial government through utilizing various statistics, report, and health related information of the provincial government itself from 2002, April to 2002 November. The major result were as following; 1. Strengthen the concern and investment on the health programme of elderly peoples should be needed due to continuous increasing rate of elderly above 65 years old. 2. Specialized services of MCH(Maternal and Child Health) and School Health programme should be needed because of rapid increasing school-aged children in some new built cities. 3. Adequate and comprehensive health care services should be supply to the high risk group in the province through strengthen the concern about them. And department of health should be collaborate and cooperate with social welfare facilities and organization. 4. The provincial government must develop the balanced improvement of medical facility because there was the maldistribution problem of the medical facility that scale of organization was 3rd referral level or general hospital in the province. 5. Inter-sectoral cooperation between public and private health organization and provision of the service of the hospital ship may be needed for island residents due to many potential health problems in island community people. In conclusion, the result of this study, current status and situation of the community may reflect to establish logical and efficient the plan of community health care in the provincial government.
